Day 1: Welcome to Lapland and Quest for the Northern Lights
The tour starts at Kiruna airport where you are met and transferred to your cozy hotel. In the evening, you will be picked up for a journey out into the wild, to explore the amazing Northern Lights on a guided snowmobile trip. After a delicious dinner, you head into the night again to return to the hotel. * Please note that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sights of them cannot be guaranteed.
Day 2: Dogsled Ride and a Visit to ICEHOTEL
Today, a skilled musher will pick you up at the hotel for a thrilling Husky sled experience. You will learn to drive your own dog team of four dogs through the breathtaking Lapland landscape. 2 persons per dog sled. The dogs howl and pull at their harnesses to get moving; as soon as the anchor is lifted, the dogs fall silent and eagerly start pulling the sle
d through the woods and over the plains. During the break, around the fire, you will be served coffee and a light lunch.
Later, you will be taken to the ICEHOTEL and the Ice Church in Jukkasjärvi to enjoy a guided tour about the history of this fascinating hotel. Every winter, the ICEHOTEL is completely rebuilt in Jukkasjärvi by artists from all over the world using snow and ice chunks from the local Torne River. The hotel, famous for its unique concept and dazzling works of art, features a stylish reception area and main hall, the chic ICEBAR and an incredible assortment of rooms and suites for over 100 guests.
Day 3: Visit to a Reindeer Farm
The day starts with a tour to a Sami reindeer farm for a close encounter with Rudolf and his friends, followed by a traditional lunch in a Sami teepee. Try driving a reindeer sled! You will get the opportunity to learn about the daily lives and history of the Sami people, the native people of northern Scandinavia.
Day 4: Kiruna, Lapland-Stockholm and Departure
Transportation by early morning flight from Kiruna back to Stockholm/Arlanda, where you transfer to your departure flight.

* Warm clothing is required for this tour, however extra warm clothing is included and provided locally where required. Some of the activities are weather conditions dependent. In the unlikely event that an event is cancelled due to weather an alternative will be offered.
