About this tour

50% deposit needed
Packages with certain travel arrangements require a higher deposit due to supplier's strict booking terms. Since this package includes accommodation at an ice/snow hotel, we charge a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total price. How the deposit is paid: 20% will be charged to your card immediately at the time of booking and the additional 30% will be charged shortly after (50% in total). Read more about our payment terms. In general, our vacation packages in Lapland are child-friendly, but please note that many activities (e.g., snowmobile and dog sled tours) have an age limit of 4 years old. Feel free to contact us for details about booking a package with children.

Weather & What to pack 
• During the peak travel season, December to February, the Lapland region experiences an average temperature range of about - 16 °C (3 °F) to 3 °C (37 °F) depending on location. More information on climate and daylight in Lapland.
• Warm clothing is required for this tour, however additional outerwear is provided locally where required depending on weather conditions. Some of the activities are dependent on weather conditions. In the unlikely event that an activity is cancelled due to weather, an alternative will be offered at no additional charge. More information on what to pack for Lapland.
• This package can be booked before the 30th of January, but note that the SnowCastle does not open until that date.

SnowCastle 
The whole SnowCastle and the rooms inside are made of snow and ice and are rebuilt each year. Great light-effects will add to the charm of the snow- and ice-sculpting as well as to the structures of the SnowCastle. You will sleep in a thermal sleeping bag in a normal comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet is served in the warm Castle Lounge and morning sauna at nearby hotel is included.

Your room at the SnowCastle is made from snow and ice and unique artwork decorates the room. You sleep in a thermal sleeping bag in a normal comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet in the warm Castle Lounge and morning sauna at nearby hotel is included.

Cancellation
All cancellations must be made by letter, fax or e-mail. In conformity with business practices within the Nordic travel industry and cancellation policy made by our suppliers, we are obliged to charge cancellation fees on this holiday to passenger(s) as follows:

Less than 32 days prior to arrival: 50%
Less than 16 days prior to arrival: 100%

After booking with Nordic Visitor

After booking your package with Nordic Visitor, you will be contacted within two working days by one of our travel consultants, who will serve as your dedicated contact person for all of your travel needs before, during and even after your holiday. Your travel consultant will provide you with details about your booking and your remaining payment (if not paid in full). You will also receive more information about what to expect during your holiday.
