Day 1: Thursday - Welcome to the Land of the Midnight Sun!

Your refreshing holiday begins at Rovaniemi Airport, where you will be greeted by a local representative and transferred to your comfortable hotel in the heart of Rovaniemi. After settling in, you can take some time to relax or explore your surroundings a bit. 

Later, celebrate your first evening in Lapland with a riverboat dinner cruise on the Kemijoki River surrounded by beautiful summer scenery. Enjoy a mouth-watering meal of local ingredients prepared by your guide served in the wild. Just before midnight, you’ll be driven to the top of Ounasvaara Fell to admire the fascinating midnight sun and the vast landscapes with a glass of sparkling wine. Afterwards, transportation is provided back to your hotel in Rovaniemi.

Day 2: Friday - Reindeer & Santa Safari 

Today’s adventure begins with a relaxing cruise on a traditional riverboat with a visit to the home of a Lappish family and their workshop. The riverboat will then take you to a local reindeer farm, where you can learn about Lappish culture and reindeer rearing. Here, you will also enjoy a delicious Lappish lunch and participate in a ceremonial crossing of the Arctic Circle. 

In the afternoon, the tour continues by car to the Santa Claus Village for a meeting with jolly old Santa himself. After this unique experience you have some time to explore the Village or do a bit of souvenir shopping before returning to Rovaniemi.

Day 3: Saturday - Meet the Huskies 

After a relaxing morning you will be picked up at your hotel for a visit to a husky kennel, where you will meet some hard-working huskies and learn more about dog sled racing and how the dogs are trained. You’ll also get a firsthand experience of what it’s like to be a musher with an exciting dog sledding tour on wheels! After the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel to enjoy one final evening under the midnight sun.

Day 4: Sunday - Departure

When it’s time to head home, transportation to Rovaniemi Airport is provided in time for your departure flight.
