About this tour
50% deposit needed
Packages with certain travel arrangements require a higher deposit due to supplier's strict booking terms. Since this package includes accommodation at an ice/snow hotel, we charge a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total price. How the deposit is paid: 20% will be charged to your card immediately at the time of booking and the additional 30% will be charged shortly after (50% in total). Read more about our payment terms. Booking
* In general, our vacation packages in Lapland are child-friendly, but please note that many activities (e.g., snowmobile and dog sled tours) have an age limit of 4 years old. Feel free to contact us for details about booking a package with children.
* Due to limited availability during the peak travel season, we urge you to book your package first and then wait for confirmation from us before booking your flights. Please contact our travel experts if you have any questions.
* For accommodation at the ICEHOTEL or arrivals in December (especially during Christmas or New Year’s) we recommend booking well in advance.
* Please note that there is an additional cost for staying at the Icehotel on the following dates: New Years (29 Dec-01 Jan) & Valentines day (13-15 Feb) If you are travelling on these dates please contact our travel consultants for the new total price.
* Due to national holidays in Sweden on the 24th, 25th, 26th, 31st of December and 1st of January we are forced to charge an additional SEK 350 per activity per person. If you are travelling on these dates, please contact our travel consultants for the new total price.

Weather & What to pack
• During the peak travel season, December to February, the Lapland region experiences an average temperature range of about - 16 °C (3 °F) to 3 °C (37 °F) depending on location. More information on climate and daylight in Lapland.
• Warm clothing is required for this tour, however additional outerwear is provided locally where required depending on weather conditions. Some of the activities are dependent on weather conditions. In the unlikely event that an activity is cancelled due to weather, an alternative will be offered at no additional charge. More information on what to pack for Lapland.

* This package can be book before the 15 December but note that the ICEHOTEL does not open until the middle of December.
Your room at the ICEHOTEL - Ice room
Your room at the ICEHOTEL is comfortably furnished with furniture made from ice. Unique artwork decorates the rooms. You sleep in a thermal sleeping bag on a special bed built of snow and ice, on reindeer skins. You are awakened in the morning with a cup of hot lingonberry juice at your bedside. Breakfast
After booking with Nordic Visitor
After booking your package with Nordic Visitor, you will be contacted within two working days by one of our travel consultants, who will serve as your dedicated contact person for all of your travel needs before, during and even after your holiday. Your travel consultant will provide you with details about your booking and your remaining payment (if not paid in full). You will also receive more information about what to expect during your holiday.
Please note: we recommend booking at least three weeks in advance.
