Accommodation at the ICEHOTEL

The ICEHOTEL, the world’s first hotel made of ice, is famous for its unique concept, dazzling works of art and fairytale atmosphere.  Located in the small Arctic village of Jukkasjärvi, the ICEHOTEL is among Sweden’s top attractions and draws thousands of tourists to the Lapland region each year.

There are three different types of rooms at the ICEHOTEL:

ICEHOTEL Art Suite
Perfect for special occasions, the spacious Art Suites offer extraordinary atmospheres with amazing ice art and sculptures; each suite is uniquely-designed by ICEHOTEL’s carefully-selected artists.  Snuggle up in thermal sleeping bags atop a soft layer of reindeer skins on beds made of snow and ice and awaken to a hot cup of Lingonberry juice at your bedsides before a trip to the morning sauna and breakfast buffet.

ICEHOTEL Ice Room
New to the ICEHOTEL in 2009 are the Ice Rooms, which are comfortably furnished with one-of-a-kind selections of ice artwork and ice furniture.  Get cosy in thermal sleeping bags atop a soft layer of reindeer skins on beds made of snow and ice and awaken to a hot cup of Lingonberry juice at your bedsides before a trip to the morning sauna and breakfast buffet.

ICEHOTEL Snow Room
These simple rooms made of snow spaciously accommodate 2 to 4 guests.  Thermal sleeping bags are provided to ensure cosy comfort in -5°C degrees as you rest on soft reindeer skins atop a special bed of snow and ice.  Awaken to a hot cup of Lingonberry juice at your bedside before a trip to the morning sauna and breakfast buffet.
