  • Day 2: Reindeer & Santa Safari

Today’s adventure begins with a relaxing cruise on a traditional riverboat with a visit to the home of a Lappish family and their workshop. The riverboat will then take you to a local reindeer farm, where you can learn about Sami culture and reindeer rearing. Here, you will also enjoy a lunch of local delicacies and participate in a ceremonial crossing of the Arctic Circle.

In the afternoon, the tour continues by car to the Santa Claus Village for a meeting with jolly old Santa himself. After this unique experience you have some time to explore the Village or do a bit of souvenir shopping before returning to Rovaniemi.

We learned so much and experienced unique customs

…Our total experience for all tours was very memorable. We learned so much and experienced unique customs and traditions and the Finns and Sami people were very friendly and informative. This is one experience I did not have on my bucket list, but glad we had the opportunity to experience such a wonderful time. Efficient tour operators from booking to the actual tours themselves made it a wonderful winter holiday experience. Thank you.

Sleep soundly, in the accommodation type of your choice, and wake up ready to enjoy another day of exploration.
