Spend the night in a room made of snow
The Arctic SnowHotel, located 26km outside of Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland, is a hotel that offers rooms made from ice and snow. Guests can spend the night in a room made of snow on a frozen bed layered with reindeer skins, visit a snow sauna and the ice bar, and be alerted to the appearance of northern lights with the aurora alarm. The Arctic SnowHotel also features glass igloos for overnight guests to sleep with wide, unobstructed views of the arctic sky.
The incredible snow structures are rebuilt every year by a team of sculptors and architects specialising in snow and ice.
SnowHotel sleeps 70 guests and is one of the largest in the Nordic region. The walls and furniture surfaces are decorated with ice art and illuminated artwork. The room temperature is 0–5C°, but using the sleeping bags intended for extreme conditions combined with reindeer furs, you can be sure you will stay warm and comfortable. On the shores of the lake, the moonlight, stars and northern lights illuminate the unspoiled nature.View Attractions
